Your Consultation
Your consultation will be with Dr. Jennifer Prince, founder of Crying, Colic, and Beyond and former lead of the feeding therapy clinic at the University of San Diego.
With over a decade of experience, she supports families navigating allergies, intolerances, reflux, and feeding challenges — offering clear, compassionate guidance so you feel confident and your baby can feel better.
Understanding the Full Picture
This personalized consultation explores whether allergies or intolerances may be contributing to your baby’s symptoms.
Rather than focusing on just one symptom, Dr. Prince looks at the full picture — including feeding patterns, digestion, skin, sleep, and your baby’s history — to better understand what may be driving their discomfort.
Together, you’ll work toward answers that bring clarity, relief, and a path forward.
What to Expect
Before your appointment
Once your consultation is booked, our patient coordinator will be in touch to set you up on our secure patient portal and provide a detailed new patient questionnaire and forms. This is carefully reviewed by Dr Prince ahead of your appointment, so we encourage you to include as much detail as possible. Prior to your consultation we ask that you:
-
Complete a detailed questionnaire (this will be reviewed in advance by Dr. Prince)
-
Share your baby’s feeding history, symptoms, and concerns
During your consultation (50 minutes)
Your consultation will take place via Charm, our secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. We will ensure you are fully set up in advance. Appointments typically last around 50 minutes and provide dedicated time to explore your concerns in depth. You can also access any shared documents after your appointment and communicate with the team through this platform. Your consultation will cover:
-
In-depth discussion of your baby’s symptoms and patterns
-
Exploration of possible allergies or intolerances
-
Clear, evidence-based recommendations
-
Guidance on feeding, diet, and symptom management
After your consultation
Following your appointment, Dr Prince will provide a personalized treatment plan tailored to your baby’s needs. Our medical team will support you with any follow-up questions, coordinate prescriptions if needed, and arrange further testing where appropriate.
Your appointment includes three weeks of chat support with our medical team who can help coordinate any recommended testing, prescriptions, or dietary plans, as well as support ongoing updates and adjustments to your baby’s management plan as needed.
If you would like additional support, during the checkout process you can choose to add direct messaging with Dr. Prince during these three weeks for that added level of care and reassurance.
